My name is Caroline Francis-Henry. I am a fashion jewellery designer, having learnt the trade from my mother who has been a successful silver jewellery designer for 35 years.

Initially I started making items for friends who were getting married or had a special occasion coming up and wanted something completely different. As business grew rapidly I set up Little Gems Designs, and created a unique collection of sterling silver, hand crafted fashion designer jewellery to sell at local farmers' markets and craft fairs in Derbyshire and Staffordshire.

The first market stall at Bakewell was really successful and I established a large customer base. I have subsequently extended the markets I cover and my collections can now also be seen at Belper and Buxton markets (see Events Diary).

All my fashion designer jewellery is made with loving care. It can take two days to make one three stringed set of pearls, and one day to produce a silver torque, which is used to set off the dramatic effects of my beautiful pendants.

Little Gems will stay small and exclusive to ensure that customers get what they want; individually hand-crafted, fashion designer jewellery at affordable prices. This way clients can build up a lovely collection simply buying one treat each month.
